blogging from brunei airport

killing my time at the internet section while waiting for our flight at 815 to dubai.

dad drove all the way and i slept ...wuahhahaa

now online-ing at the sky lounge. free food and drinks...dad being quite thoughtful la...smuggle me some food n drinks...hahaah...cuz only he is allowed to eat n drink for free...so i just tag along.

ah...feeling a bit regret to go dubai. the air ticket can be used for greater purpose. the thought of just going over to dubai to watch horse racing and come back....what a waste of money n time....however, hopefully it will be a good opportunity to 'try' communicating with dad...

wish me luck la....

going to write a story about my bvlgari watch (lost & found)...what a story.....

too many photos..too little time (youth camp photos)

old among the youngs....these kids are like at least 10 yrs younger than me.

but we did great (all the staff and volunteers) we finished a task within 10mins (they took like about 20 mins to complete it)...wuahhahaha

if i sempat, will post more photos but no internet connection at home. otherwise, my next post will be from far far away land...

很感人的三天两夜

失踪了整个星期。很忙不过很充实。

先是ISUZU Festival.
两天都在场地准备游戏
Festival当天来了很多人
多到要吐
天气又热，又热闹
很忙不过看到很多小孩子都很开心
又可以赚钱
何乐而不为

然后是, 去汶莱接一位Jakarta朋友，
很久没看到他了
旧同事,在2005年之后就没有看到了
很不错的交流
谈谈生意,谈谈生活
在empire住了一天,又回美里做工
朋友也到美里走走...

隔一天,去了绿洲的少年camp,
很忙,要照顾朋友又要照顾年轻人,
不过在这个营会,看到很多的突破
鲁莽的少年已经踏出了他们的第一步,
他们第一次挑战自己成为领袖
第一次细心的照顾小组员
第一次背英文
第一次压抑自己的情绪,为了顾全大局,还向组员道歉 (知道他的人都知道他很大炮和颈硬到像牛酱,要他道歉,不可能)
第一次惩罚组员因为组员犯错(认识这个组长的人都知道他是个我为人人,人人为我的人,要他有立场是不大可能的事情)
第一次在酱多人面前哭 (这个人应该是什么都往肚子里吞的人,哭不是软弱,哭是感动,哭是解放)
第一次脱颖而出(在学校,他能多少酷就多少酷(装的),最好是可以变影形)

很感人(哭了)...很好的突破.很好的开始.

也很高兴认识了很多新的年轻人,猫脸,问题Wendy....Augustine (谢谢你们分享故事也希望看到你们的成长)

继续去找你们的定位,继续成长

so,何谓D-I-S-C?

D=Dominant (实行型), I=Influential (影响型), S=Social (重视人际型), C=Critical Thinking (思考型)

DISC测验把人归于4大类...

每一个都有它的长处与短处

实行型 (曹操)-独立,领导能力强,好胜心过度
影响型 (乐天派)-充满热忱的人,与人发展良好的关系,过于理想派或乐观
重视人际型 (我为人人,人人为我)-喜欢发展深入,持久的人际关系,优柔寡断
思考型 (想太多)-标准很高,尽心尽力,过度担忧

我本身是影响型的,开心就好,

不过中途遇到我为人人,人人为我的KS和曹操的但义理.

需要做出很多的调整.这个还不算什么.

在吉隆坡和杜拜工作的时候,常常都遇到曹操型的人...

不过从中我看到,要是各方英雄豪杰,能好好的配搭的话

成果会是很好的..

最重要的是, 大家都要了解自己的长短处,

彼此学习,

你问我,我就不能像曹操这样打江山吗?

当然可以,毕竟他有他的作为.

不过我问回你,为何不做诸葛亮呢?

最近和朋友聊天都会谈到DISC...

这个人很D哦,会给冲动冲昏了头

S的人就是酱咯,会给情绪慢慢杀死

DISC是一个性格测验.

这个测验能让你更了解自己, 在了解自己后,

也能从这个测验看到其他的人对待人处事的不同

不管是高层领袖或社会义工,

我们都要学习与人配搭,

即使是在我们生边擦肩而过的人,

你就会预防以及在适当的时机对症下药...

这可以减少在配搭时的压力与冲突...

extra mile

its been a while that i write my blog in english. starting to enjoy writing my blog in mandarin . never good in chinese but i like the feel. the word itself describe the exact feeling . for example the word 感动， in english it might mean in awe or touched. it just doesnt reflect the actual feeling

anywie, writing in chinese its an extra mile for me. never like to type so many english characters and end up just select ONE chinese word.

throughout the years, i have met ppl that really go the extra mile to showcase God's love and make this world a better living plc...So what does extra mile means....

Extra mile is...

when u do something when you are not requested to (smtimes consider as kepo)
when u forgive a person when you feel you have been betrayed
when u share your favorite food
when u put other interest before u (KS)
when u give free tuition to ppl during ur rest time (SHU)
when u send a parcel full of stamps across ocean to surprise a person (SIFU)
when u share your bf with the rest of the world (HJ)
when u still give bible study while you have to take care of ur sick kid (Gan Ma)
when u provide advise and care thou u have mentioned the same thing over n over again for the past 30 years (CEO)
when u make a card for a person you love thou u know u are never good at it (GANGSTER)
when u write ur blog in chinese so that others can understand (hahahah)

....the list can go on.....

but one thing i m sure...walking the extra mile will only make the world a better living place....so WALK THE EXTRA MILE.....
